Starting A Group

1) Purchase the Course- The first step to a successful group is purchasing the Principles of Liberty course and spending some time in it. You don't need to complete the course before you start a group but you need to be familiar with what the group will be learning in the course. Look through the Study Guide, watch some of the Video Lectures and familiarize yourself with the readings.

2) Purchase the Leader's Manual- Next, you'll need to purchase the Principles of Liberty Discussion Group Leader's Manual and go through the Video Training. This training will only take a few hours to complete. Here are some things you can expect to gain from the training:

An overview of the Lost Educational Principles
Review of essential study skills
Review of how to run a group discussion
A live group discussion of other group leaders
Class feedback on study skills and discussion

3) Form your group- Now you are ready to begin forming a group. In order to generate interest you can do a couple of things:

Send people to the website and ask them to watch the "Why Take This Course?" and "Principles of Liberty Preview" videos on the Principles of Liberty Page OR
Invite people to a meeting, watch the videos together, hand out the course syllabus included with your Leader's Manual, go over with them everything you will be learning in the course and ask them to join your group.
